I have a mint 1978 Eldoradp and I need something for the vinyl top to protect it from the weather and sun. What can I use that is good Thanks Paul

Any of Mother's or Meguiar"s vinyl roof products will do very well to help preserve your vinyl top.  EAM

Paul,

If the car gets rained on and is stored outside, it's important to seal the top with the conditioning products mentioned above.

The vinyl and the padding under it retains moisture and causes rust issues under the top that leaches out and creates rust blisters at the base of the top.

If you keep it gooped up with conditioner/sealer it will repel the water which is much better.
