I'm considering purchasing one of these bare blocks to repair my '40 Sixty Series V8

Serial numbers of these blocks:
9J36158

8321118

Can anyone confirm that these are 346 Flathead blocks?

Thanks

Paul, The 8321118 corresponds to a 1940 62 series. Not sure about the other one.   Harry

They are both flat head 346's
8321118 is the engine number for 1940 series 62
9J36158 is the engine unit number for 1947 hydramatic transmission any series

The numbers for 1940 series 60s are engine 6320001-6324600 and unit number starting with 6E. Warren
