Crossover or interchange book

I am not sure what it is called maybe a crossover or interchange book or manual. Where would be a good place to look for something like this at a reasonable price? I have spent far too much time looking for brake parts that I think would have also been used on other vehicles of this era, made by GM or other auto maker.
  Come on you don't have to tell anyone you know me and my doctors will thank you for not letting me go off the deep end. thanks
