NON TILT COLUMN if it matters.

I am looking for the Hazard/Flasher button.....mine is missing.

part number if you have it?  location of one is even better  ;D

when i got the car it had a self-tapping #6 jammed in there.

Thanks.

ewww.. if a self-tapper was in there, it likely ruined the threads for the hazard "button" screw.  it's just a little machine screw with 1/4-20 threads (I'm pretty certain they're 1/4-20) that screws into  the plastic knob, and then into a machined hole in skinny sheet metal plate.  that plate in turn is what activates the switch inside the column.  if you're lucky you can re-tap with an appropriately sized tap.. otherwise time to start surfing junkyards for a used column.  I think any of the columns from 72 onwards up to 77 should work...

1/4 20 sounds way too big.
If he gets the knob and screw it way thread in. If not a small self tapping screw will also work.
I'd contact eBay sellers that are parting out cars.

yeah you're right.. 1/4-20 is definitely way too big.  probably 8/32 or something.  my bad.

Thanks. I can figure out what screw to use.

Is the knob the matching color of the column and dash?
