I am a private party and I have been asked to sell the "subject" automobile.  Can anyone give me a "ballpark" value that would be both fair to the owner and a potential buyer?  The car is red/wine with a white vinyl top and white interior.

Nadaguides.com has values based on condition for older cars.  Market is not strong for that car, my 2 year old price guide says 6500.

Sounds like a nice car.

Difficult to give a value sight unseen.

FWIW- OCPG gives the values for a 1989 Eldorado as follows:

Condition #1 - $16,800; #2 - $11,760; #3 - $7,560

*These values are a bit optimistic from what I've seen. A more realistic figure would be around $8K - 11K assuming your car is near mint (#2) w/6,000 miles.
