I appear to have a broken or loose? front brake cable on a 32 v-16. Does the cable connect to the brake rod somewhere near the inside of the fender?  How does it come apart for inspection and or repair?  Thanks for any help.  Anything to watch out for?

for a diagram of the 1932 brake cables, rods, etc.

If you have a shop manual, you'll find a more thorough explanation.  If you don't, let me know.  I have a copy.
