Does someone by chance have a photo of the 1941 60 Special upholstery known as "Tan & Blue Pattern Cloth", this is fabric style 4T141, part # 4119156.  This is what was original on my car, only it was long since lost to previous rennovations.  I would like to know what this material really looks like.  Then I have a basis to either start searching for this fabric or decide that I don't like it and chase a period-correct material instead that I like better.

A photo of either a real car or that page in a dealer sample book would be great.

Thanks!
Paul

Paul, Try Bill Hirsch. He has samples of most of the materials used and will send them out.

Hello Paul

Glad to hear you are improving your Cadillac.

Ron Bennett is the leader for all 1941 Cadillacs.
Bill Anderson is a master restorer and leads the area of authenticity.

Both of these gentleman can be found in our 2012 International Membership Directory.
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I had previously called Bill Hirsch company, but the person was not able to match their inventory to a fabric code.  I will try the authenticity contacts next.  Meanwhile, if anyone has this information, please jump on in!

Thanks

Paul,
The info you provided is correct, but very few people can decode it. I'm sure NO fabric vendors can. I suggest you post the trim # on your data plate. I assume it's 816 or 1329. This way a person with an original or partial original  interior can send a pic.
