Does anyone know what the ::) difference is between a 1959 and a 1960 Cadillac dashboard?

The 1960 dash (upper) is more thickly (& softly) padded than the '59 and the '60 is far more resistant to warpage. The '59 has a more coarse "elk" grain; the '60 is a finer silk-like grain.

The instrument clusters are similar, the most notable change of which is the relocation of turn signal indicators from the dash to front fender crown mouldings (1960). Radio speaker grill bars divided vertically in '59; horizontally in 1960. '59 also has crest/v emblem over speaker, '60 has "Cadillac" plaque. Brushed metal (1959) was replaced with bright chrome for areas of dash facings. Illuminated "LIGHTER" cutouts eliminated in 1960.  Other small differences- consult photos.

Lower dash is the same design for both years.

If you are wanting to know if a 1959 Dash Pad will fit a 1960 or vice versa, it wont the main difference is the shape where the pad fits on the speaker Grille 59 & 60 are a different shape.
