What were they testing, actually?  Hennessey's salesmanship?  TxDOT's radar equipment?  TxDOT's EZtag readers?  I'm guessing that it was more of an advertising stunt by the investors of the toll road.  It opened this week between Austin and San Antonio with a 85 MPH speed.

I don't understand this statement:

"test out a toll tag system to see if it could accurately report fines at triple-digit speeds"

Unless some loophole has been passed, the State of Texas is prohibited from issuing speeding tickets based on toll road EZtag readers.  I'm guessing this is just a stunt, as indicated in the first sentence of the second paragraph.

But yeah, 200 MPH Cadillacs are cool!   :D
