Possible Copyright Infringement

 Howdy Cad-LaSalle guys/gals. My name is Dick Morland, Chief Commander of the Chris Craft Commander Club, an organization similar to yours. Our club has a registered, copyrighted logo that was designed by one of our members many years ago. Recently we discovered a guy in India had copied it and was offering it for sale on eBay. We are currently initiating cease and desist actions against him, and in my research on this guy, I also found that he had copied your logo and was offering it for sale, also on eBay. I notified the office of it some time ago and I think the seller is from Hong Kong.  He's making drink coasters and even watches.  No idea what the status of the issue is.

All, this issue has come up previously. We consulted a patent attorney.  Parts of our logo are copyrighted by General Motors, thus we cannot attempt to copyright our logo without GM giving up their rights to the parts of it that are their copyright. We decided the time and expense to do this would be too great.
