source for fuel pump gaskets for my 1941 Series 62

Both of my round gaskets in the AC fuel pump (upper and lower) are seeping gas and tightening is to no avail. can anyone suggest an easy source to order same?

There are no round gaskets Jim, You mean the rubber diaphragm's are leaking dont you?  One of them is for vacuum so there should be no gas in there anyway, so it must be leaking through the fuel diaphragm. Kits are usually obtainable. Kanters probably.

Hmmm.... there are 2 round (ring) gaskets in the pump body itself, presumably epentrated by the 2 rings of screws that hold the pump together. One ring is about 1/2 inch below the glass bulb and the other is much lower, holding the bottom portion of the pump together.

These are not gaskets as such but full circle diaphragms that act as a gasket between the metal surfaces. your just seeing the outer edges.

ah, so those are outer edges of 2 diaphragms that also serve to seal the metal to metal. got it! Yes, gas is seeping out. can you suggest a good source for replacements - i couldn't find on Kanters.?

The new Fuel with ethanol is not compatible with the old fuel pumps. I would recommend getting a rebuilt pump from Kanter Auto Parts at, PH# 1800-526-1096. The pump is $120.00 plus shipping.
