Value of 1970 Eldorado? Interest?
« on: November 29, 2012, 06:51:46 PM »
Guys,
I'm posting  here as I don't own this car yet. So, I don't want to post in the for sale category. I know there's been lots of interest in the 67 to 70 Eldos on this board. This car shows approx. 43K miles. It appears to be code 99, Chateau Mauve Firemist[ a pretty purple color] with a white top & interior. A very rare color. The car would be sold by me  in Santa Clara, 40 miles south of San Francisco. If you have an interest in learning more about the car, please contact me DIRECTLY at bobscads@comcast.net
Thanks,Bob

Chateau mauve is one of the rarest and, perhaps, most desirable colors from that generation.  While some will be turned off by the color, there is a market for it in that color.  Also, the '70 being the first 500 engine without emissions controls makes the drivetrain very attractive as well!  Miles sound good at 43k and it's the last of that body design.  Sounds like a gorgeous car with the color combination.

I'd like to see photos of it!

Guys,
This car is in an unusual situation. I will buy it if I can. I will  sort it out as necessary & then offer it for sale. If I did't have my 68, I would keep it. I will post  as soon as I have any info.
