Could someone help me out with an radiator interchange possibility for a 1956 Cadillac with a/c?
My car physically shows a Harrison 3133709. I am wondering if a Harrison 3121440 would work as well.
I believe the second number is from an earlier year Cadillac but it sure looks similar.
Thanks! Chuck

Chuck,
The 49 to 56 interchange has always seemed unclear. The Cadillac MPB & Hollanders don't agree. There were many different part #'s on the top tanks. My 55D date coded radiator has 3132357. The petcock is on the LH rear. Hollanders says 49 to 52 are on the RH front, 53 to 56 LH rear. I have no cars to look at. Confusing!.

Chuck,

Ok here is another twister, mine with A/C is stamp 3132070 55K which shows on the 1964 MPL for 1949-1956 while the 1958 MPL shows it for 1949-1953 and 1956.  :o

Also, per an old post in the HAMB (http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=543443) the 55K, the two digits represent the year and the letter represents the month, can’t find the specific month for K.

Good luck my friend..!
