Does anyone have a Data Book to verify interior trim codes for an 1981 deVille? I know 1980 dark claret cloth was 79D and 793 for leather. Same codes for 81? Thanks in advance..

Sorry Craig. I'd love to help but I don't have the interior codes for 1981. Probably need the salesman's data book for that info.

Eric, a call to the former dealer here confirmed the codes are the same 80-81 dk claret. Thanks for replying, tho!

So if the codes are the same, does that mean the seat style is the same ?

No, it wasn't uncommon for the code numbers to carry over even if the trim style changed. For example, code 79 was dark claret from at least 80 til 89. It was the letter or number following that designated the trim level and material. 79H was deVille level cloth, 79b Fleetwood level. 793 would be deville leather. Sew style changes did not have different designations.
