1969 convertible...yellow light mounted on radiator support ???

Has a replace no repair sticker on it.  916362 is the number on top of the sticker.  Next series of numbers are 669-028016.  There is a little round yellow light and a spring and about a 2 foot long 4 wire harness.  Anyone know what this is?   Thanks :)

I think it's the photocell light sensor for the automatic dimming option.
