I picked these up for a project and have been given conflicting information on model/year. Anyone have any insight?  They clearly look like early LaSalle fenders but I thought the side skirting that covers the spare tire wells was not introduced until 1933 (345C).  At which point the round bulbous front was changed and swept toward the bumper.  1931 345A is my best guess but the side skirting is different.

Those are '33 LaSalle fenders. The front of them in '33 did not sweep down toward the bumper. Notice the hole next to the well for the '32 and '33 sidemount spare holddown.

In these pictures look at where along the frame rail mounting edge the head light stanchions sit.  Compare the ’33 to the ’31.  The ’33 is farther aft along the frame rail or it appears so because the front edge sweeps forward down to the frame rail.  Now also look at where the headlight stanchion support bar braces against the fender.  On the ’33 it is near the top and close to the turn signal.  The ’31 has the stanchion/fender brace much lower on the fender.

Now what about 1932 345B.  The ’32 widened and flattened the front edge of the fender as shown below.  The round bulbous-like of mine matches models back to 1930

I cannot explain the skirt.  In 1931 there were 10,103 sold of 12 different style variations.  Maybe one variation (that I can’t find a picture of) had this fender.  Maybe LaSalle was experimenting with a fender skirt? A prototype?  Could even be a 1930 model.  Maybe a custom shop made a one-off set of fenders.  Unless I find a matching picture or a 100 year old that remembers I may never have an answer.
