Has anybody bought these rear bumper impact strips for their 77-78 Eldo? How do they look?
Thanks,

Which supplier are you buying from?

I bought a set from USA parts (rear bumper) for my '73 Eldo and they looked
and fit perfectly.

Just remember that these are ABS Plastic and not like the original rubber ones.

Thats correct. These are hard plastic where the oem were rubber. These look great but are plastic.
Not sure if anyone makes oem style anymore. You can find them on ebay sometimes as either NOS or NORS.

Joe,

They are made out of ABS plastic so they will look and feel different.
I don't think you will like them.

My advice is to check with USA Parts as I recommended.

Perhaps things have changed but the ones I purchased (a few years ago) were
RUBBER, the same as the originals, not ABS plastic.  They were a perfect replacement.
For clarification, mine were for a '73 Eldo, but it's worth checking if you haven't already
done so.  They may have what you need.
