Hello Everyone - I am looking for a good source to buy the proper mesh covering that covers all the openings under the hood, in front of the windshield keeping the debris out of there. Mine is a disgrace and I would appreciate if someone might tell me where i can get OEM style replacement steel mesh. I have a 1969 Deville Convertible.

I could also go for the same thing but for a 1968.

If you are up for some DIY work in trimming it yourself, look at McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com). Search for woven wire cloth. Match the # of wires per inch and choose a material (steel, stainless, etc).

I went this route to find the copper mesh I needed for my 41's fresh air muffler.

Hope this helps.
