1942 Cadillac's specific problems.

First I must say I like this Forum and this club and I am not trying to weaken them in any way.

I am atempting to set up an electronic discussion group of 1942 owners for those people intersted in restoring them, repairing them, buying them selling them and so forth.

  1942 was Cadillalcs 40th birthday and it was a different car than the 41 and after the war they went on to new models and not much (except mechanical parts) of the later years fit the 1942's so 1942 owners have unique problems in finding parts and inforamation.

  An electronic discussion group would not be affiliated with this club and would be open to any 1942 owners even thse with parts cars or a few parts to sell. Password protection would prevent commercial usage of the group.

  I belong to a few of them and the only real problem is that some use it for a social group which is not what they are for.  Any member can post information and any other member can read it. Simple and costs nothing. Every post ends up being an e-mail to the whole group.

  If you have any interest or know anybody who has an interest I would like to hear from you.
