I just want to know if its OK to undo the two head bolts to install the cruise unit.  Then put them back in. How would you tork them back down and at what ft lbs.The engine was just rebuilt and we didnt put the cruise on, doesnt look like much room for tork wrench. Will I screw up the head gasket by doing this?  Thanks

Ah yes..... One of the engineering marvels....... How many things cn we squueze under the hood must have been a Cadillac design contest   ;)

Use. Long socket extension with the torque wrench and you will be fine. Don't forget that annoying extra power steering bracket that mounts to one of those bead bolts as well
