Hello, I am seeking a 6 volt voltage regulator for my 1938 Fleetwood Cadillac.  I would appreciate your help finding this.  Thank you, Jere Costello  (310) 740-1602    jcostello@cleanstreet.com

Jere,

I purchased a correct voltage regulator from Yesteryear Antique Auto parts. The model no. was a 1118204 6 volt positive grnd 3 wire reg.  I purchased it in 03 & is still functioning properly.

I would think yours would be the same as my 60 special V8

If by Fleetwood you mean a series 75 or 90 these have a very hard to find 6 terminal VR and even harder after you find it to get it to work.  If you are just after function a standard 6 volt VR available at auto parts stores will work if you hook the Bat, Gen Arm, and field up.  You will lose the starter interlock on run.
