I am stumped.  When I turn the engine off, I hear a slight "ding" which I take to be a reminder that I have left something on in the car.  I have checked everything I can think of and it looks off -- radio, lights, wipers, etc.  Does anyone know what the "ding" reminder is set to go off for?  How do I locate the problem?  Thanks in advance.

I don't think there are any audible alarms on that car.

I agree. I have a 66 DeVille Convertible. To my knowledge there are zero warning dings or alarms that would have come standard on the car.  Could someone have installed something before you owned It?
