I am interested in finding a 1940 LaSalle limo which belonged to the Daniel family in Dallas, Texas.  It was originally black.

Hello Mr. Bryan

Glad to read that you are seeking a LaSalle.

Not sure if your reason is based on research or acquisition. We would love to have you as a member of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club. There were very few of this model manufactured and fewer survivors. If you do not receive a response on this forum I would suggest an inquiry with the Professional Car Society. If I may be of service please contact me.
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

Bill,
Your request is pretty vague.
#1 A picture is worth a thousand words.
#2 Who is the Daniel Family?
#3 Do you have a VIN?
#4 When is the last time it was seen?
Good Luck.

Too much fun is more than you can have.
