What are your opinion's on using plastic media to remove the paint on our cars?

I've had it done on my 49 Willys-Overland Jeepster.

It's very easy on the sheet metal and did a thorough job.  They'll ask you if you want
any plastic body filler that they may find to be removed ..... In my case I found that the whole driver
side back corner had been caved in!
