1964 Twilight Sentinel

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement photo cell for the twilight sentinel  dash sensor for my 64?  I have not been able to find a good used ones. The ones I have Come across all seem to be crystallized looking and I can't get them to work as I have tested them for continuity with a ohm meter in and out off the light. I have seen photo cells on various web sites but don't know how they gauge their sensitivity. Any direction is appreciated. Thanks

The photocell has to be calibrated with the control box.  Just replacing the photocell with a used one may work and may not.  The photocells go bad after a few years, so a used one has a real good chance of being bad.

I have rebuilt several 1965-80 assemblies with new photocells.  The 64 is a little different on how the photocell mounts, but is basically the same. 

Also the capacitors inside the control box also go bad after several years, and get replaced when I rebuild the units.

The box has to be calibrated to the new photocell.  No two photocells have the same resistance values, that's why they have to be calibrated.
