On the '59 with Tri-power where is the Idle Screw and also the Fast Idle setting?  Our car is running again but the idle is a bit low.  I also have the AC working again but do not believe that the fast idle "kick-up" is working when we switch on the AC.  Any ideas on how to check/fix that?

Idle screw is on ther cenetr carb linkage drivers side.  Flip the choke over, look at the linkage for the choke you will see that set screw also.
