Anyone use the kit from Kanter? Since my car was sitting so long the wheel cylinders are rusted up badly. I pounded out the pistons but they are all scored so replacement seems better than rebuilding at this point.

Any input appreciated. Thanks.

When I have a problem in this manner, I get my wheel cylinders sleeved with Stainless Steel by my local machinist.

But then, down here, it is hard to get replacements from a shop in any sort of reasonable timeframe.

Plus, with Stainless liners, one will never have a problem again.

I buy direct from Midwest Power Products in IL.  815-942-0550. They have the cylinders and hoses without retail markups.  Same brands too

I get my wheel cylinders from napa, they had them on the shelf.  Hoses I got from Kanter.

Bruce, sounds too much like work but I agree it would be the longest lasting solution :)

Jeff, perfect! I just got my booster/master back from them. Didn't think to ask if they had the other parts I needed.

I tried the local Napa and they said they didn't have a listing for anything.

Thanks guys.

Try Rockauto, had the stuff for my 55.
