Good Morning to all

I've recently purchased and am restoring a 76 Eldorado Convertible with EFI.

My mechanic told me that the air temperature sensor and water temperature sensors for the computer have failed.

Napa and GM both do not carry the parts.

Can anyone tell me where I can get these sensors???

Many thanks

Eli

Eli,
At last mention of these sensors MTS said they had them.  http://www.500cid.com/ should get you to their website.

MTS has new ones, by the original mfg because of high demand.  I test the ECUs for these cars.

thanks!

I'll be in with my mechanic on whether we need 1 or two pieces and then make the order.

Get two. If they stop making these and you have another one die on you, you wont have a car that runs. Actually they only make these things in small runs, so you might not get them in the future again for a while.

Those sensors don't affect the car when its warmed up.  But they could make
it hard to start, without cold enrichment.  A spare is good.  If you only have
one good one, make sure its the one in the coolant which has far more effect.
