Can anyone tell me where to get the right lifters for a 56 Eldorado? I have a couple of noisy ones and the ones Napa said were correct are wrong! Mine have a deep recess when you look from the top down and the ones Napa sent have a shallow recess. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Dennis,

The MPL shows the same lifters part # for 1949-1956 and early 1957 ->  http://www.modifiedcadillac.org/documents/Shop_Manuals_and_Illus_Catalogs/Master%20Parts%20List%20thru%201964/Group%200/tn/Group%200%20-%2017.jpg.html

Have you try the standard Cadillac vendors i.e. Kanter, Egge, Fusick, etc?

Good luck..!
