It doesn't matter what the weather is the 1960 Biarritz always looks good!

It took a few years but Cadillac finally got the wings just right.

To me the difference between the 59 and 60 is like this:

The 59 is like Marilyn Monroe

The 60 is Grace Kelly.

Dan,

Well said. For a long time I've said "An Eldorado is for Marilyn Monroe. A Fleetwood is for Sopia Loren"

Eric, great car in a great color.

Merry Christmas all,

First year with the Caddy so I figured if we had to take a winter picture, we might as well include her.  Had to do it outside tho because wife wouldn't allow me to bring it into the living room!!

Richard,
I certainly wouldn't want to argue with you about the fins, but I think it was the other end of the 50's Cadillacs that might have had something to do with actresses and movie stars.
Yes the "Dagmars".
Not to put to fine a point to it, I offer up a photo of the 1955 year, with he largest examples.
And lest I seem like a letch - I also offer up the name sake's photo.
Have fun,

Steve,

I certainly can see the resemblence and must admit, it puts a smile on my face :)  After all, who doesn't like the 55 Caddy?  ( I must be getting old, lol.)

Mine had "training" Dagmars,  :D

Tibor:

The picture with Marilyn Monroe between the two Cadillacs was computer manipulated. For years, I know the original and it was not Marilyn.

BTW, the rear end on the left belongs to a '48 Fleetwood.
