Just got my SS. beautiful 49 coupe de ville show car. just curious about some aspects, are the windwings permanently closed or what? is the windshield unique or is a 1950?  and the stone guards look different. any input out there? Dave

I think the vent windows were power on that car.

The stoneguard under the front door seems to be made from the same material as the 48-49 Series Sixty Special Fleetwood stoneguard that runs from the front door back to the rear fender skirt and then continues from the back of the fender skirt to the back of the rear fender.

The stoneguard on the rounded front of the rear fender appears to be the same as the stoneguard in the same place on 48-49 Series Sixty Special Fleetwoods.
