Site performance was in the toilet.

Solution? More horsepower!

Site should be nice and fast from now forward.

No worries Pete. Technology is like breathing......you take it for granted until it stops!  Keep up the great work.  Its sort of like we moved up to a V-12 from an 8......

Hello Peter

We are extremely grateful for the wonderful work you do for us. Gratitude
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

Peter,

I run a few websites and I know how frustrating these things can be.  I have found Go Daddy to be the best bang for the buck out there, and their tech support is top notch.

Thanks for providing us with this much needed service.

Seems like an index number somewhere may be out of sync. I just got this email...

A new topic, ''46 steel grille', has been made on a board you are watching.

You can see it at

and it brings me to this thread.

Peter,
So that is what withdrawal feels like - not to have the site to go to every morning.
I'm glad you put new tires on the beast and she rides just great.
Thanks form me and my wife - who had me under foot while the site was down.
Have fun,

Peter,

Thank you for operating and maintaining these forums (fora?)

Your advice about taking some time off from poking around the message boards and doing something constructive with our cars was well-takn.

Keep up the good work!

Glad to see that things are back up to snuff!  Sorry for all the pm's on performance, but did not know what you knew or were seeing, and did want you to be informed.

Wow, I was just adjusting my expectations to the sloooww performance and then the site was supercharged.

Thank you Peter and everyone concerned with the new performance level in the website.
