hello!

I have just removed all the frame mounts on this car ( have removed the frame for painting )

the rubber looks ok

what do I use to preserve them?

I have a product called 303 that is used on rubber and vinyl

or should I leave them as is ???

I would replace them.  Rubber can look good but not be.  It would be so much more work to replace them later.  Unfortunately all rubber is not equal and some grommets I replaced on a 40 year old car two years ago are starting to fail.  Probably best to replace them with polyurethane.

Another alternative is to have them re-vulcanized.

Oh yah, do them now while you have them off.  You'll kick yourself later if you don't.
Remember, it isn't the poject that gets you, it's the 'might as wells'

While its apart I might as well do this........ Might as well do that.......
