Im scared of asking. How difficult is it to replace the motor mounts and / or the transmission mounts in the 78 Eldorado?
I dont know if the mounts are bad. Still have to do some more work looking at other sources of vibration. Just want to know if the mounts are going bad.

If it is anything like the '71 to '76, then it is really easy.

One at the front, under the front pulley, and two at the rear, to the sides of the Trans Support Cover.

There is a bolt between the left mount and the final drive that can be kinda a pain to get to.  I don't remember if you have to remove that one or not just to replace the mount.

I have not seen one of those that bad unless you had a nasty fuel leak or something to eat away at em.
