Is there a 6 volt "power supply /jump box" ? I carry a 12 volt in my other cars and would like a 6 volt in the '47... W.Sanders

Haven't seen one, you can momentarily jump with a 12v, just make sure anything can can turn off in the car is off, radio, and such, of course if the battery dies and you need a jump good luck keeping  it running off the generator.

Thanks.. I'm getting "googlyeyed" googling the subject...

Anybody know exactly what is in those jump boxes?  Could you take one apart and put a 6 volt optima battery in it and have it work reasonably?

Just a thought.

Its just a re- chargeable battery Glen. I find them a waste of money because when the battery gives out you throw the whole thing away. Better to get yourself a good spare battery and a set of jump leads. You then have a battery to use in the car should you ever need it  also.

Second that. Actually after I bought another 6 volt battery, I never had to use it  :o
