So I have three 62's. I am currently detailing the engine compartment of my convertible. I have also bought numerous parts including engines.
My questions are.
Should the steel lines under the hood be blue?
I have an original fuel line that shows flakes of blue, fuel pump, and vacuum line.
I think that all the steel lines under the hood should be blue.
I was told that maybe someone decided to paint the fuel line blue but I had two of them the same fem different cars.
Thoughts?

I found evidence of Cadillac Dark Blue on my choke tube.

19,000mi and unrestored.  Pretty unequivocal evidence there.

I left it bare as the paint had burnt off sometime around when RFK was making his presidential bid.
