1940 throwout bearing lock springs

I got some more time to work on my 40, It looks like the lock springs attach to the Clutch arm and grip the T/O ears somehow. I would think they go on before assembly because the one on top would be impossible to put on.
I don't have any clips. Where can I buy these? If there is a real picture of one it would help me a lot.

I think they fit through that visible hole in the fork and then through a corresponding hole in the bearing carrier.
