A few months ago I posed a question regarding a good choice for a newer Cadillac for occasional use. I drive a Dodge mini van all week for work and need to have another car for going out and driving nights and weekends here and there.

The 99 Eldorado that I bought a few years back has needed lots of repairs and I decided to replace it with something larger that can seat 4 adults in comfort.

I found a 2007 DTS for sale locally with 40,000 one owner miles and a really good price and it was in a color combination that I really love.

The owner died and the mechanic that does the work for the entire family had the car for sale at his shop.  The price was way under book a d way under anything I saw online so after consulting with a Northstar master technician and getting a favorable opinion on the 07 and 08
DTS models, I took a shot and bought the car.

The more I drive it the more I am loving it.  Smooth, powerful, and roomy.

Congratulations and best wishes Brian!  Two years ago I hesitated on a chance to buy a beautiful blue 2007 DTS and someone else bought it.  I still regret it a little.

Pretty car Brian.

Much better choice than an El Camino - if you'll forgive me saying so.  ;D

Brian, Great looking car, good choice. I bought an '04 SLS with 35K about a year and a half ago and it is amazing what you get for your $ with these low mileage, several year old Caddies.    Harry

That is a nice car Brian and the color combination just makes it even more stunning. Congratulations on your purchase!

Congratulations! You're lucky you got it under book value. I bought my 2003 DeVille DTS with 44,000 miles a bit over book value by haggling with the seller. Tim
