Pulled the seal today and it doesnt look like the one im putting in.  First off only half came out and it looked like it was connected to the other half by some rubber or something across the top of the seal.  I think the other half is still in there.  Any tricks?  Will I damage anything if i drill a small srew hole for a slidehammer?  Also which way does the seal go in rubber forward or leather forward?  THanks

This is what came out.  Look like the wrong seal?

Looks like someone replaced the original with two seals.  Is the new one a deep one?

It was replaced with the wrong seal.  It actually made it easier to replace because it came out so easy.  I purchased the right one and finally in place.
