Does anyone have experience with power window switches from Fusick?    I'm looking to either rebuild my original switches or buy good reproduction replacements.   I see Fusick sells repro switches and I was just curious what others thought of them.

Thanks,

If your existing switches are not sloppy or broken, and the bakelite (black plastic type material) is good, you can take them apart, steel wool all the brass parts, reassemble and it's pretty much the same thing.  (Will also save you $120.00)

I bought one  and they give you mostly new brass parts.  A lot of the original switch is reused.  The inside brass usually is not bad, but may have a surface coat of corrossion, thus the steel wool.

On a single switch, there are 4 keys to be removed, so it comes apart.  There is a hole near each. (This is on the chrome holder that holds the actual switch in place.)  Put a nail point, ice pick or any pointed tool into this hole and gently pull the key out.  Remove all 4.

Upon reassembly, merely push the key in and it will lock itself into place.

I have done business with Mike Fusick over the years.  He use to be primarily Oldsmobile.  I also had a chance to chat with him at the GN last week, I think he is a very reputable dealer.
