All,

I am in the process of putting together the 6-way power seat.  It was in pieces when I got it.  :-(

However I haven't been able to figure out how the motor's attach to the frame.  I have three motors and three brackets.  But no luck in determining how the motors attach to the frame.  Photos would be awesome.! Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Dan

Sounds like everyone is still heading home from the GN.

I had a look in my '59 Shop Manual, and all that is there is a diagram of the wiring harness, and nothing specific on the actual mounting of the three electric motors.

But, the Horizontal Motor is on the right end of the front bottom seat frame, the Front Vertical Motor is in the "sort-of" middle, and the Rear Vertical Motor is further to the Left Side, but not as far left as the right one is right.

You do have a Workshop Manual?   The diagram is on page 551   Section 15-92

Dan,
Since I didn't see a response from you that what Grant sent you met your needs, I offer these photos as well.

I just got done refurbishing a 1960 power seat.
The most important thing is cleaning and lubricating the cables and the screw drive mechanism.
The tilt motor was weak and we had Cadillac Tim rebuild it.

Seat functions perfectly now.

It's like everything else on a 59/60.  Very heavy and way overbuilt.

It's amazing to see what cars were like before weight and cost savings.
