Does anyone have a component assembly diagram for LaSalle/Cadillac 40's era Heater Box. I have all components lying apart and am trying to put these together. I have wiring and switch intact but the actual heater Box is dissembled. There is a square frame with 4 rubbers and need to know how that attaches to the heater radiator core. It either goes on front of core toward front of heater box with doors or goes between the core backside toward firewall side and the actual fan assembly. The rubbers on first option seem logical but if second option used this would provide spacing between core and fan blades, but where do 4 rubbers go? If I get this correct I think I may have it.

Chances are these heaters only ever came as a complete unit so there may never have been a diagram to help you?
