Hi, I'm rebuilding these regulators as they have been damaged by rust.  I have ordered new channels that support the windows, but only one of my regulators has the two wheels (rubber?) that help the assembly slide.  Does anyone know where to find replacement wheels?  I guess they would be plastic or Delrin today, or maybe rubber ones could be found.  Thanks very much in advance.  Ed Buliavac

55 to 57 Chev rollers work.  Danchuk has these as part number 11287.  The only problem is the hole in them is not quite deep enough to allow the rivet to peen over properly.  The solution is to drill them a little deeper.  When you buy them buy at least one extra to practice with so you get the end to set properly.

There is no wheel as you call it.   It consists of a steel disc riveted to the operating arm that acts to keep it in the channel (it does not rotate)  with two leather washers, one fits inside the channel and one outside of it to make smooth operation. The windows will work without them but would be a bit noisy and loose.  New leather circles can be cut with a hole in the middle and forced over the disc with success.
Picture attached of a new old stock one I have here.

Thank you both very much.  I have disks for one side but none for the other.  The ones I have are worn.  Regards, Ed

As I said, its possible to cut some old leather circles with a hole in the middle just big enough to force over the steel disc when greased up.

I'm giving the Danchuk wheels a try because I have no steel discs for one side at all.  I also have to fabricate the smaller wheel bracket for one side.  It's missing (must have rusted and was lost by previous owner).
