I recently acquired my first Cadillac, a 1952 Cadillac 62 Series 6219X in very nice condition. It was originally gray, but is now black with light gray cloth upholestry. It has every facory option available except for the automatic headlamp dimmer.

It runs beautifully and drives almost as new, with one significant exception. It can be very hard to start after it has been driven an hour or more and then stopped on a hot afternoon. The problem is with restarting it.  I will post a question on the Technical/Authenticity Discussion Forum.

Is it a problem with the starter motor or something else ? My 53 had a problem with the starter when it got hot . Simple solution . It had the wrong carbon brushes in the starter .looks exactly like mine . Nice car .
