Hi All, I am finishing up the long restoration of my 57 Biarritz
I have a couple of questions regarding correct weather-strip, body plugs and battery covers
1. On the front door weather-strip front  inner part # 70-0551-73 Steele Rubber how is the long part of the strip attached?
There are 3 holes in the upper level part of the door that look like clips would have held it in place/ Are there replacement clips?
Steele just suggested using adhesive but there must of been something that went in those holes to hold the weather-strip
2. between the hood sides and the front fenders there are 4 sort of triangular rubber bumpers to cushion the hood.
there are 4 additional holes are these filled with a rubber body plug? if so does anyone have a part # or what type of plug they are?
3. I have purchased a correct battery from Antique Auto battery, was there a factory rubber/plastic cover over the battery cables at the terminals?
4. I took my sabre wheel spare to get re-chromed here locally and it was a disaster. Is there a place anyone would recommend to re-chrome the wheels?
Here are a couple of pics
