I am in the process of restoring a 40 lasalle 5019 and about to the paint process. Just received self starter and there is a 41 convertible on page 24 that looks like what I want. Mine was oxblood maroon from factory.
Does anyone happen to know the owner of the 41 or any idea how I might find out what that color is?

I judged the car at the GN for the Sackett Award, and it is owned by a lady in Park City, Utah I believe. She is in the Directory. That color is Valcour Maroon. Why not paint the car the original color? It is available from shops on line.

If your paint store or your paint shop uses RM paint they have the formulas to mix the OEM paint color.
Except for black all the 1940 colors were supplied by RM, Black was supplied by Dupont.
