Well it seems like GM has been struggling with water leaking into the cabin for some time now,and it is with all GMC,Tahoe and Cadillac vehicles.  Some repairs include the drain hole hoses for the sun roof while others are more complex and include removing and replacing the windshield. Non draining A/C boxes and wiring pass thru's are another source for these problems. If not corrected the leak fries the A/C control module and really does a number on the rugs and padding. Does anyone work for a dealer on here that can give a definitive answer as to what is the repair on these cars,or do you just have to keep taking the car back till they get it fixed?  Thanks,Dan Marinola

Dan,

Same question. I have a '10 Yukon and have been through some heavy storms. Truck is always bone dry.

Sorry for not getting back to you guys earlier but I was at Hershey. I am looking at a 2007 Escalade. The carpet on the passenger side along the rocker moulding is discolored a nasty brown. The truck has a light tan interior, pearl outside. My dealer friend says that GM has been having problems with water leaks on all models that share this body style. Seems to come from under the dash on the passenger side and fries the A/C module if  the leak is bad enough. I looked at another one here from a private owner and when I asked him why the blower motor wasn't working,he said the resistor for it was bad. When I looked under his floor mats the carpets were soaked on both sides. Same year(2007) Escalade. Any replies? Thanks Dan Marinola
