Hello Marty

Glad to read you are interested in acquiring another Cadillac.  I hope you did some research.  If not here is some data to contemplate.

The 1942 Cadillac production year ended on February 4, 1942 due to the war with only 16,511 manufactured.  The car in your sight could be a 1942 Cadillac 6719 Sedan (200), 6719 Imperial Sedan 5P (50), 6723 Sedan 7P (260), or 6733 Imperial Sedan 7P (190) for a total of 700 (plus 99 export?).  On a scale from one to six with 1 as perfect and six as a parts car the high is 43k and the low is 2k.  Parts for this era WILL be sparse at best.  Please do a thorough cost evaluation on every aspect of the automobile BEFORE you purchase.

We exist to assist.
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

Sorry all it was a 6109 but it was in very nice original with just 36,000 miles. It must have been sitting in a closed garage. All I know it sat since '78 with no sign of the little gray devils, the interior was spotless. It sold for 6,500.
