im having trouble with leaking gas from the big plugs on outside of carb, Stromberg on 412 60 special. what should I use ? I know they measure .75 inside diameter. should I use any kind of sealer ? thanks john

I don't think you are supposed to but I always do. You do need to make sure its a sealer that can withstand oil and fuel and it helps if you have the tie rod tool to tighten them as I find a screwdriver just doesn't do it, its a large slot socket to use with a bar but don't go too heavy

I have successfully replaced the gasket that should go there with  neoprene o -rings and no sealant
