I'm trying to clean up the undercarriage of my 47 , but can't seem to find my authenticty manual . Right now , the undercarriage appears to have a black undercoating of sorts with bare metal showing through in various spots . What's the frame and undercarriage supposed to be  - bare metal , red primer , black undercoating , something else ?? Thanks for any help . ... Paukl Tesone CLC # 6876

Paul,
Hi. According to the manual, Chassis Black on the Frame. The underside of the body was painted semi-gloss black over red oxide primer, but many cars have been undercoated here, also. Hope this helps…
